Modern Rustic Lodge
|
| White Oak boasts a large modern
lodge for our clients to enjoy. We offer gas heat, wall to wall
carpeting, several bedrooms, comfortable beds, complete with linens,
pillows, towels and wash clothes, etc. We have a large dining area,
the hunters lounge with a 9 foot tall rock wall, with life size
mounts, complete with a tumbling waterfall, talk about relaxing,
this is it. |

It is a super environment to sit with old and
new friends and relive your hunt,
maybe even stretch the truth a little. TV and VCR are also located
in the lounge, with lots of our own hunting movies. We also offer

complete bathrooms with lots of hot water and a mud room for your
boots & coats, a front lounge, two huge patios, a basketball
court, and a big elevated observation deck out back to watch
the deer as
they ease out to feed in the evening. |
| We sit back in our property so you are surrounded with trophy game,
We are at the end of a dead end gravel road, so we have a lot of peace
& quiet. For those of you that have hunted here in the past,
you know we have worked hard to build a modern and comfortable, yet “Rustic” lodge.
Recently we gave it a huge face lift. We have put in new ceilings
out of Black Oak and Rock Maple, our walls have been re-built with
Spalted White Ash, Walnut and cherry, plus White Oak and Sassafras. |

We have added all new lighting fixtures throughout,
a custom built Whitetail Antler chandelier, new carpet and furniture,
new kitchen
and cupboards, buffet table, windows, doors and much more! Eddie
timbered and sawed all the lumber himself, all this beautiful lumber
came off our ranch. This isn’t your typical lodge. Our lodge
is warm, very spacious, spotlessly clean and very unique with all
the stone and hardwood lumber. |
| It is hard to improve a hunt at
White Oak, but hanging out and relaxing in our lodge will certainly
do
it. Check in is the evening before your hunt, we will
have coffee and snacks available. The morning of your hunt, you will
wake to the smell of brewing coffee, head out to the dining area
and get a cup. Sherri has a big buffet style breakfast on the table
at 7:30 sharp. Pancakes & eggs, 2 or 3 meats, orange juice and
coffee. You may be one of the lucky ones to have her pecan/cinnamon
rolls, they are fantastic! That’s her standard breakfast. After
breakfast you will meet up with your guide, and head out. |

We own over 1,000 acres of beautiful,
rough Ohio Hill country. I don’t think you could find a
prettier place to hunt. Your guides will do their best for you
and at noon Sherri
will have a big lunch ready for all to enjoy. After lunch and a
short rest we are back at it till we are done or it gets dark.
Once again
you are treated to a large delicious meal. Supper is completed
with a few home made desserts, hot coffee is again available. |
We also offer a large Hot Tub Spa to sit and relax in after a hard day of hunting. It sits out on the South Patio. Be sure to bring your bathing suit, and enjoy this new addition to the White Oak Lodge. |

Some hunters
prefer a mixed drink or a beer. That’s OK with us.
After you enjoy the hot showers we meet up in the hunters lounge
and relive the days hunts. Most hunters don’t stay up too late,
they’re
worn out and can’t stay awake! This is a short list of what you
can expect at White Oak. Our clients can expect first class accommodations,
meals & services. When you want a relaxing weekend and a great
hunt, just give us a call at White Oak.
Lodging: $95.00 per person, per night Meals included. Check in time is anytime after 6:00 p.m.
the evening before your hunt. Coffee, soft drinks and snacks will
be offered.
Meals start with breakfast day after check in.
